Keep Up With: Celebrity Fit Club 3
The new year equals a whole bunch of new dieters on the weight-loss scene, including the eight celebrities of “Celebrity Fit Club 3” on VH1.
This season’s hothead and likely screw-up is actor Jeff Conaway, who comes to the first physical challenge toting a bag of prescription meds. He’s also the team captain of “The Cosby Show” actress Tempestt Bledsoe, D12 rapper Bizarre and ’80s babe Kelly LeBrock.
Sonny and Cher’s kid, gay activist Chastity Bono, is the other team captain of rapper Young M.C., actress Countess Vaughn and actor/writer/”Hollywood Squares” veteran Bruce Vilanch — who’s this year’s most lovable, but most out-of-shape, character, a la Phil Margera of last season.
Jeff’s team weighs in at 889 pounds; Chastity’s team weighs 938. The scales have been calibrated, and we’ll have to tune in to see who loses the most.
I’m rooting for Bruce. “Fit Club” airs Sunday. …
