There's also a Jerome Kern album we did later in which i do a number
called "They All Look Alike To Me Now" as Sophie Tucker might have done
it. And still they cast me in "Hairspray!".

Michael Vaccarro CD
Title: Archangel Release
Date: 1999
This
is a good friend of Mr. Vilanch who now lives in New York City. Mr. Vilanch wrote
the liner notes to this CD which was released in 1999. It is still available,
but somewhat hard to find.
Of note to Bette Midler fans is Michael Vaccaro's
cover of "Hurricane", written by Miss M herself.

Various Artists CD Title: George
and Ira Gershwin in Hollywood Release Date: Circa 1997 Event: APLA
Tribute
Mister Vilanch had this to say about this hard to find CD: "I
ponied up the money to produce the album, which was an original cast recording
of one of the annual benefits a group called "Stage" does out here for
AIDS charities. I believe I was also in that show, singing a number called "Treat
Me Rough" from Girl Crazy (Mickey Rooney does it in the movie with
a bunch of girls). I did it with Jeff Stryker. Also, it was right when Madonna's
"Sex" book came out, so we had huge blowups of me in her poses from
the book (hitchhiking naked, etc). There's also a Jerome Kern album we did later
in which i do a number called "They All Look Alike To Me Now" as Sophie
Tucker might have done it. And stll they cast me in "Hairspray!".

Eartha Kitt CD Title:
The
Best of Eartha Kitt/Where is My Man? Release Date: 1995
I believe
most of this CD is actually a re-release from the early 80's (1983) when Ms. Kitt
had a huge dance hit called, "Where Is My Man?". Bruce Vilanch co-wrote
all the songs except for two on this CD. His writing partners were Jacques Morali
and Fred Zarr. The songs he wrote include: Where Is My Man?, This Is My Life,
I Don't Care, I Love Men, Arabian Song, Sugar Daddy, Tonite, and La Grande Vie.
This CD is still available!

The
Village People CD Title: Sex Over The Phone Release Date: 1986
Bruce
Vilanch co-wrote all the songs on this CD with Jacques Morali and Fred Zarr. Mr.
Morali, I believe, was behind the formation of The Village People...I'm not sure
if that is literal or not (he he). This CD is available only as an import as far
as I can see. It was re-released in 1999. The songs included on this CD are:
Sex Over The Phone, New York City, Just Give Me What I Want, Power Of The Night,
Sexual Education, and Sensual
