Bruce Vilanch has written the last 21 Oscar shows and has backstage stories about every single one of them, starring some of the most famous names in the world. He has also written the Grammys, Emmys and Tonys, in addition to many a beauty pageant. He starred on Broadway for a year in HAIRSPRAY, sings and dances, and has stories about that. He was a Hollywood Square for six years, as well as being head writer, and has many stories about that. In addition, he writes jokes every day for everybody else in the business and is willing to actually pilfer their material to make his audiences happy.
