Adams, Harada, Reams, Sills, Vilanch and More Join Broadway Backwards Line-up

Additional artists have been announced for the annual Broadway Backwards concert — featuring male singers performing songs traditionally sung by women and women singing tunes written for men — which will be presented Feb. 22 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
Stage and screen star Florence Henderson — best known for her role as TV mom Carol Brady on “The Brady Bunch” — will host the concert. Show time is 8 PM.
Newly announced for the evening are Nick Adams (A Chorus Line), Martine Allard (The Tap Dance Kid), Dan Butler (TV’s “Frasier,” The Lisbon Traviata), Harvey Evans (Follies, West Side Story), Ann Harada (Avenue Q, 9 to 5), Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music), Will Nunziata, Anthony Nunziata, Lee Roy Reams (La Cage aux Folles, 42nd Street), Douglas Sills (The Scarlet Pimpernel) and Bruce Vilanch (Hairspray) as well as over 50 Broadway dancers and singers.
These performers will join the previously announced Tony winner Lea Salonga, Tituss Burgess, Mario Cantone, Raul Esparza, Becki Newton, Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins, Tony winner Gary Beach, Tony winner Len Cariou, Tony Goldwyn, Aaron Lazar, Michele Lee and Julia Murney. Co-creator Robert Bartley will direct with musical direction by Wayne Barker.
The upcoming concert will benefit both Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and New York’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) Community Center.
