Bruce Vilanch is not Travis Kelce‘s mom.

That was the first thing one Hollywood’s great writers was quick to share with the women of “The View” this week as he’s on a tour for his new book, “It Seemed Like a Bad Idea at the Time.”

Appearing in a perfectly chosen T-shirt — Vilanch is famous for wearing a different, fun T-shirt every day — the “storyteller without peer,” as Bette Midler calls him, regaled the women with a quick insight into his own personal Super Bowl LIX experience.

“For all you football fans out there,” Vilanch said, “I am not Travis Kelce’s mother.”

Up on the TV screen then popped a side-by-side of Vilanch and Mama Kelce.

“The resemblance is alarming,” Vilanch declared.

He’s not wrong.

Vilanch then told the story of how he came to find his separated-at-birth twin, Donna Kelce.

“People called me and said, at the Super Bowl, what are you doing in a box with Taylor?” He shared. “And I looked and I thought, we are each other’s doppelganger.”
