Broadway veterans Andrea Martin, Bruce Vilanch and Doris Roberts are among the comedians to appear in Bravo’s television event, “Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words,” Dec. 15. The one-hour comedy special will air on the cable network Dec. 15 at 10 PM (ET/PT). Check your local listings.
“Celebrity Autobiography: In Their Own Words” features a cast of comedians performing live staged readings of excerpts from the self-penned life stories of such famous stars as Kathie Lee Gifford, Sylvester Stallone, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Tommy Lee and David Cassidy. Celebrity author George Takei, Mr. Sulu of “Star Trek,” will be in the audience and treated to a performance from his memoir, “To The Stars.”

The cast includes Andrea Martin (Oklahoma!, Fiddler on the Roof), Bruce Vilanch (Hairspray), Doris Roberts (“Everybody Loves Raymond”), Jay Mohr (“Last Comic Standing”), Cheryl Hines (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”), Kevin Nealon (“Weeds”), Fred Willard (“Best in Show”), Niecy Nash(“Reno 911”), Kel Mitchell(“Kenan and Kel”) and Laraine Newman (“Saturday Night Live”).
The show is produced by Dakota Pictures and Handprint Entertainment in association with Bravo. Eugene Pack and Dale Rehfeld, who will also perform, executive produce with Troy Miller and Evan Weiss.
