Jamie deRoy Celebrates 300 Shows

“Jamie deRoy & Friends,” the MAC Award-winning variety show, celebrates its 300th episode Oct. 7.The program, which first aired in July 1994, will feature a round-up of performers from past shows. Those who tune in can expect to see performances from Joseph Gabriel, Jimmy Webb, Charles Busch, Jose Llana, Caroline Rhea, Bruce Vilanch, Rebecca Luker, Darrell Hammond, Tovah Feldshuh, Jerry Orbach, the late Henny Youngman and others.

“Jamie deRoy & Friends” airs on Time Warner Cable, channel 67 (and RCN, channel 110) at 8 PM ET. Barry Kleinbort directs.

Jamie deRoy, a stand-up comic, singer and hostess, has been a longtime fixture on the New York cabaret scene. She is the winner of seven MAC Awards, nine Telly Awards and is an Emmy-nominated producer of Channel 13’s “CityArts.”
