Jack O’Brien (best director of a musical for “Hairspray”) is directing a stage version of the film “His Gal Friday” for the National Theatre in London. Then he’ll helm the national company of “Hairspray” with Bruce Vilanch (“Hollywood Squares”) in the Harvey Fierstein role, followed by “Henry IV, Parts 1 and 2” at Lincoln Center starring Kevin Kline, Richard Easton, Billy Crudup and Ethan Hawke.
