The Actors Fund presented the 17th annual Nothing Like a Dame benefit Monday, March 26 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater.
Subtitled “Their Favorite Things: From Reality to Opera to Broadway,” the gala featured performances by Polly Bergen, Andrea Burns, Mario Cantone, Countess Luann de Lesseps, Lauren Flanigan, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, David M. Lutken, Marilyn Maye, Alexandra Silber, Elaine Stritch, Talise Trevigne, and Bruce Vilanch.

Guests included Jacques Azoulay, Richard Kind and Nikka Graff Lanzarone.

The evening, which served as a benefit for the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, was directed by Richard Roland, with musical direction by Glen Roven.

I’ve been to this event in years past and it is always a fabulous night in the theater, great entertainment with everybody giving 150 percent. Phyllis Newman is providing a splendid and vital service to striving theater folk.

Especially right now, with antediluvians on the rise, threatening women’s health issues.
